3rd Party Tours – Importing – API – Attributes / please mark as private

Hi.

A few more questions regarding the whole team – tours – tourism for you.

We are using a 3rd party tour-offers system (ORS.SI) and we plan on importing their database of tourist accommodation and put in within your theme. In order for all the data to be shown properly, I had to add some additional ATTRIBUTES to WooCommerce products (Airports, Ports, etc…). Each new attribute has a unique ID (term_taxonomy_id and term_id) and unique taxonomy name.

Additional tour types also have unique ID’s (tour_phys).

My developer’s question for you is: Is there any documentation on how to programatically add certain attributes to a product (tour) ?

Your DEMO CONTENT is importing tours via XML file, while our developer is using an external JSON API via WooCommerce API to import the ORS’s content (tour names, tour descriptions, images,…).

Is there any sort of documentation on the subject, I would be eternally grateful (and my developer as well 🙂 ) if you could pass it on to me.
