Child Theme

Dear Tanet, Physcode Team,

do I need to create a child theme, as some of my settings for periods of the tours etc. were suddenly not there anymore after the last update? or how would you do this.
for an example dates of validity of the tours for all already inserted were gone after the update. therfore no Tour can be booked as the booking form does not show if no dates are set.

or how would you comment this.
